Life’s short and nothing is wrong with spontaneity. We’re all too afraid to do what we want. We let ourselves think too much, and in the end, we stop ourselves from acting on our impulses, convincing ourselves it’s a “stupid idea,” or “not worth it.” i’m tired of always worrying about consequences. why not call that person you haven’t talked to in ages? why not tell the person you’ve loved for the past who knows how many years that you love them? why not act like a kid, and let yourself make some memorable mistakes? we act like doing what we really want to do is so impossible. like we can only ever read of doing such things in books, but what’s preventing us from giving it a shot? why not do what you always daydreamed of doing anyway, or at the very least, try?
